Steward Accounting & Advisory was founded by Lloyd Mufema, a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of post-qualification experience working in big 4 audit firms.

Lloyd has extensive experience working with businesses across accounting, financial reporting, external audit, internal controls and finance function improvement. His experience includes working closely with owner-managed businesses and SMEs, as well as larger and more complex organisations, giving him a strong understanding of the different financial and operational challenges businesses face as they grow. Throughout his career, Lloyd has led complex audit engagements, worked with senior finance teams, prepared and reviewed financial statements prepared under IFRS, FRS 102 and FRS 101, supported businesses through external audits, and assessed and strengthened financial processes and internal controls.

Having worked closely with business owners, CFOs, Finance Directors, Financial Controllers and other business leaders, Lloyd understands both the technical requirements of financial reporting and the practical realities of running and managing a business. Steward Accounting & Advisory was established to bring this experience directly to small and growing Irish businesses. Our aim is to provide the quality, technical expertise and financial insight gained from working with leading organisations, while delivering it in a practical, flexible and accessible way that meets the needs of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
